Is it possible to nominate OCs? Like 'Darcy Lewis' under Ultimates, or 'Clint Barton/Original Character'?

Please do not nominate Darcy under Ultimates. You will be able to request her under Ultimates in sign ups. Nominate the version of her you want to see, e.g. MCU, Thor, etc.

Okay, so from reading the nomination rules, I'll have to follow that even if the character/pairing/fandom I want to nominate already has a canonical tag in AO3?

Which, btw, is it okay to specify a specific range of issues? Like, say The Incredible Hulk (#600-#625)?

EDIT: Can I nominate Big Hero 6? It is technically Marvel :p

EDIT 2: Okay, just realized, would it be okay to nominate platonic pairings (& instead of /), and would that count as shipfic? Because the definition for genfic doesn't seem to allow focus on platonic pairings.

Not sure if this is the time to start getting super picky, but under Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, Bruce Banner and Hulk are nominated as the same person, which, I definitely see where that's coming from. However, in that particular verse, I'd prefer to have them separated out as two individuals, just because of their particular characterization on that cartoon. I have a whole justification spiel if necessary, but if this something we could do?

The Incredible Hulk (#600-#625) is fine. If it's a self-contained run or has a name or other identifier, such as author, even better, but specifying issues is also fine.

Yes, it is. I would like if it was clear that you were referring to only one persona/personality/whatever the right word is. Do you have a preferred way?

Hmm, well the main way I would do it would just be to say 'Bruce Banner (EMH)' and then 'Hulk (EMH)'. This should make sense to anyone who's watched the cartoon.

And it's not your fault at all, it's just a different characterization from other verses. I mean, they are within the same body, not split or anything, but they talk to each other and argue and disagree, and have different relationships with Hawkeye (the only one Bruce talks to on the show for very long).

And besides, how many other characters have different personalities from their daily name to their cape name? Like, Phoenix is the only one I can think of off the top of my head, and even that's a weird case.

Probably a stupid question, but: is the Deadpool movie going under X-Men Movies, or its own Movie tag? I do not major in the X-Men movies, but I haven't heard anything about either Deadpool or Gambit's individual movies being tied into the larger franchise, unlike, for example, Ant-Man showing up in Avengers movies. If you want to wait and have people weigh in on this I'm in no rush, as long as we can edit our nominations :)

It appears to be the 8th installment in the X-Men film series and canonically placed under the "X-Men (Movieverse)" fandom tag. You may also nominate it as "Deadpool (2016)" if you want just the movie rather than its immediate parent fandom.
