1. Marvel Cinematic Universe
   
   1. Natasha Romanov | Black Widow (MCU) and Wanda Maximoff | Scarlet Witch (MCU) - Both Natasha Romanov (MCU) and Wanda Maximoff (MCU) are already in the tagset as approved. Do you want them explicitly with their cape names?
2. Avengers Academy (Video Game)
   
   1. Claire Temple & Everyone - This should just be Claire Temple or if you want an ensemble, please nominate the ensemble as a team.
3. Marvel (Comics) - Does the nominator want this to be all timelines and character versions available or did you have a particular timeline in mind? If you nominate the characters under Marvel (Comics), then you would be allowing matches from any run or 'verse of comics, e.g. Ultimates, 616, Noir, etc.

It's Natasha Romanoff in the MCU.

Nobody nominated that way and fandom has mostly chosen to use Romanov as a compromise between Russian grammar and the American canon.

If somebody wants to actually nominate it that way, then we can consider it, but at this point, I see no reason to change it.

The mods have conferred, and if the spelling is considered acceptable by general standards, we're going with first approved. So in this case, Natasha Romanov (MCU) the character tag will remain approved, but relationship tags with either spelling will be accepted. This may lead to divergent spellings in the tagset, but we will only keep one tag per pairing regardless of spelling.

ETA: for example: Mantis/Natasha Romanoff (MCU) but Maria Hill/Natasha Romanov (MCU)

Probably not worth worrying about but "Unbeatable Squirrel Girl" (which is sitting down in Uncategorized) does have an AO3 canonical as "The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl". I got an error when I tried to nominate tags that turned out to already exist under that, so I changed my fandom to match the one that's already there and it went through fine, but just thought you might want to know.

1 is me. The standard format shows as rejected in my noms, so I added last year's to be sure they got in, but I'm totally happy with the standard form without cape name.

I can either reject them or you can replace them with other characters you want (more slots!)

Sorry about them showing rejected. I think that's what happens when I delete out an approved tag and edit it to have a new parenthetical so that it will quit wandering into other fandoms in the tagset.
